peep podcast catch up with Northumbria fine art graduate Francesca Monaco with her final year degree show at the Baltic Centre For Contemporary Art. Francesca sights Feminist art movements as an inspiration for her work and making sure woman are represented within the art scene.
Francesca explains ‘Guerrilla Girls’ also attracted her attention whilst making this piece. Sighting ‘Do Woman Have To Be Naked To Get Into The Met Museum’ and further explaining that the Met Art Museum only represented 5% of woman artists whilst 85% were nudes of woman.
